Alvin Tan

Alvin received his music

degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He has sung and performed in both English and Chinese version in multiple roles in the opera theatre. He sang in numerous concerts including those performed at the Singapore Conference Hall, a concert of Russian Songs @ Esplanade Recital Studio, Schubert recital at the Esplanade concert hall, and baritone soloist for The Messiah at VCH.

Alvin was awarded the Edwin Barlow Scholarship after winning first place in the National Association of Teachers voice competition.

He was also awarded the Shell Foundation Bursary from the Singapore National Arts Council, and an honorary award winner…
